Delicious crispy smashed potatoes can be done in the oven, but great in an air-fryer as it´s so much quicker.
Method
- Heat water and half of salt in a heavy-based saucepan.
- Boil potatoes with skin on, until soft. Remove from water
- Squash each potato with back of a spoon, keeping them in one piece
- Combine butter, oil, Spur Durky Sauce, Spur Classic Biltong Spice, Spur Chutney Chip Spice and mix lightly into potatoes.
- Roast in an air-fryer at 200°C for about 15 minutes, or until crisp and golden brown.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
TIP
- Can also be roasted in oven.
