Boerie Rolls

A true classic – boerewors with tomato sauce.


  • 15 ml (1 Tbsp) cooking oil
  • 500 g boerewors
  • 2 onions, sliced (optional)
  • 6 hotdog rolls
  • Soft butter or margarine
  • 200 ml (1 sachet) Spur Tomato & Chilli Sauce
  1. Heat oil in pan and fry the boerewors until golden brown. Drain excess oil.
  2. Add onions to pan and sauté until soft. Add Spur Tomato & Chilli Sauce and simmer to heat up.
  3. Cut rolls and spread butter on the inside. Place boerewors pieces on and top with sauce. Serve warm.
