Sticky BBQ Mielie Riblets


It’s sticky, sweet, smoky and saucy all wrapped into one. These delicious riblets are great as a veggie starter, on a party platter or for sharing around the braai.



  • Place the mielie riblets onto a large baking tray and generously brush with Spur Southern Style BBQ Sauce.
  • Place in a preheated oven at 220°C for 25 – 30 minutes or until charred and sticky.
  • Season with Spur Hickory Maple Spice and add to a serving platter, along with guacamole, nacho chips, dollops of sour cream and coriander.
  • Squeeze with fresh lime just before serving.
